Google Earth: A 3D Global map of Earth that uses high-resolution imagery from various sources, such as satellites, aerial photos, and 3D models, to create a realistic and interactive representation of the Earth’s surface.

Zoom Earth: Provides an interactive world weather map that allows users to track hurricanes, cyclones, storms, view live satellite images, rain radar, and forecast maps of wind and temperature for their location.

Satellites.pro: An interactive world map with satellite view, aerial photography, and weather forecast for all 224+ countries and dependencies, along with a menu list of regions and cities with capitals and administrative centres.

Mapbox: This site is mostly commercial, but you can see their Preview map. The quality is exceptional. The site says, Mapbox Satellite Streets is their core style base map that combines their Mapbox Satellite layer with vector data from Mapbox Streets.

Earth Nullschool: This website creates on the fly visualizations of current and past weather conditions around the globe.

USGS Earth Explorer: A comprehensive source of satellite and aerial imagery from various sensors and platforms, including Landsat, Sentinel, SPOT, MODIS, and more.

Sentinel Open Access Hub: The official portal to download Sentinel imagery, which offers high-resolution multispectral and radar data for various applications.

NASA Earthdata Search: A powerful tool to discover and access Earth science data from NASA and its partners, such as ASTER, SRTM, VIIRS, and more.

Copernicus Browser: The home of Copernicus Sentinel missions, which provide free and open access to data for monitoring the environment and supporting civil security activities.

LandViewer: An easy-to-use online tool that allows users to browse, view, and analyze satellite imagery from various sources, such as Landsat, Sentinel, CBERS, and Planet.

NASA Worldview: A web-based application that enables users to interactively browse global, full-resolution satellite imagery and then download the underlying data.

Worldview Snapshots: Worldview Snapshots is a lightweight tool for creating image snapshots from a selection of popular NASA satellite imagery layers.

USA NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) GOES: Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites provide continuous monitoring necessary for intensive data analysis. They circle the Earth in a geosynchronous orbit, where they orbit the equatorial plane of the Earth at a speed matching the Earth’s rotation.

OK. This isn’t a satellite site but it does help understand the satellite pictures in a ‘deep time’ way.
